Australian mountain guide Nick Morgan has spent much of his adult life in the mountains. From his seasonal base in Wanaka, New Zealand, Nick has climbed extensively in the Southern Alps, as well as spending several seasons as a Field Guide in Antarctica.

    Nick MorganOriginally from Melbourne, Australia, Nick is currently based in Wanaka, New Zealand.

    He started climbing in 1993, at age 19, moved on to guiding in 2001 and is an IFMGA Climbing and Ski Guide.

    Nick revels in sharing amazing views and moments with climbing partners and, when in the mountains with clients, enjoys helping them realise their goals in climbing and skiing.

    His most memorable climbing experience, to date, is standing on the summit of Mt Cook and watching the sunrise.

    Nick has climbed, skied and guided extensively throughout New Zealand's Southern Alps. He spent several seasons working as Field Leader/Guide for the Australian Antarctica Division where he led and provided support to scientific and operational groups working in the field and was responsible for the planning, scheduling and delivery of Antarctic and sub-Antarctic field training.
