Marco has a passion for alpine climbing and skiing, which has motivated him to explore the European Alps extensively. As well as being a talented guide and instructor, he will make you feel at home in the mountains without a doubt!
Marco entered mountaineering from a background in Karate and Military Service. He was a member of the national karate team and originally moved to Courmayeur, Italy where his is currently based, for military service. He has always loved the mountains and began climbing and skiing seriously in 1999, going on to become a qualified IFMGA mountain guide in 2008. He has many notable achievements in the mountains including skiing the south face of Grandes Jorasses, the col du Diable on the Mount Blanc du Tacul, The Mezzalama race, Patrouille des Glacier and the Couloir Marinelli on Monte Rosa. He spends his summer guiding in Chamonix, Cormayeur and Zermatt including Gran Paradiso Tour and Mont Blanc. In the winter, he is highly involved in avalanche forecasting and the avalanche bulletins for the Aosta Valley. International travel includes expeditions to Nepal, Mongolia, Perù, Chile, Bolivia, Iceland and India.
