Bronwen joins the AC Trekking team with a wealth of guiding experience from around the world, having previously guided expeditions, treks and ski trips in Nepal, Mongolia, New Zealand, Bhutan, Canada, Norway, Antarctica and Japan.
A qualified ski guide, ski patroller and trekking guide, Bronwen has built a career out of guiding around the world, having previously guided expeditions to Mera Peak, Everest Base Camp, Bhutan and the Altaii Tavan Mountains in Mongolia, including an ascent of Mt Khuiten. She has also worked as a ski guide and ski patroller for numerous seasons in New Zealand, Canada, Antarctica, Norway and Japan. A qualified NZMGA assistant ski guide Bronwen now spend the Southern hemisphere winters guiding and patrolling at Wanaka's local's favourite field, Treble Cone. She also works as an avalanche educator teaching both recreational and professional level avalanche courses.
Amongst her impressive resume, Bronwen has traversed the length of the South Island from Te Waewae Bay, Southland, to Farewell Spit over the course of 84 days in order to raise awareness for Youthline, a counselling service for young people. Just some of her many talents!!
