Bio
Hailing from Tasmania, Kim enjoyed a typical Australian outdoor childhood of hiking, climbing and bushwhacking. It wasn't however until a six month trip to Europe at the age of twenty that a passion for alpine climbing was solidified and Kim became fully hooked on the mountain way of life. After cutting his teeth on some of the Alps' most classic routes, Kim has since climbed around the world and notched up first ascents in North America, Patagonia and the Himalayas.
Kim ran with his passion and spent several years working as a rock climbing guide and outdoor instructor in Australia, before commencing his training as an NZMGA Climbing Guide. These days, Kim typically spends half the year working and half the year exploring inspirational climbing destinations around the world. His passion and zeal for the mountains make him a popular and sought-after guide.
