Philosophy professor turned Mountain Guide, Cosmin Andron feels more at home in the rugged mountains of the world or on a steep rock face than in the urban jungle.

Bio
Cosmin began climbing in 1989 at the age of 13 in his native Northern Transylvania (Romania). After an initial career as a Philosophy & Classics lecturer at the University of London and various academic positions in Ireland, Romania and China, in 2010 he decided to make the move to a full-time guiding career.
A fully qualified IFMGA Mountain & Ski Guide, Cosmin has guided all over the globe, including the Carpathian Mountains of Central and Eastern Europe, the European Alps, Africa (Mount Kenya, Kilimanjaro, Jebel Toubkal), Oceania (Puncak Jaya/Carstensz Pyramid), the Southern Alps of New Zealand, South America (Cotopaxi, Iliniza N), Tibet, and both the Indian and Nepali Himalayas.
