Alison CulshawAlison’s love of the outdoors began at a very young age when she was first introduced to skiing on the slopes of her local golf course in Scotland. From that moment Alison’s passion for skiing grew and she spent much of her teenage years ski racing, winning national titles and representing the British Children's Team and then the Scottish National Team in international ski competitions.

Alison's passion for skiing and the mountains naturally progressed to ski mountaineering and off-piste skiing. She has accomplished a number of classic ski tours in Europe, skiing wilderness peaks in Patagonia and on Chilean Volcanoes, a ski ascent of Mount Elbrus and most recently spring skiing in the Lyngen Alps in Norway.

Alison has now been working in the French Alps for over a decade and in 2012, participated in the Patrouilles des Glaciers ski mountaineering race as part of the British Women's Team and again in 2014 for Skimo Scotland.  In the summer Alison continues to spend time in the mountains, guiding our European Alps Treks.
