Neil is an emergency physician at Kelowna General Hospital in British Columbia, Canada. He holds a Diploma in Mountain Medicine, has worked as an expedition doctor and he summited Mount Everest with Adventure Consultants in 2024.
At Adventure Consultants, he brings the perspective of both a physician and a climber to expedition planning and medical decision-making. His special interest is in expeditions to peaks above 8,000 metres, particularly how teams plan for acclimatisation, recognise altitude illness early and make difficult decisions far from hospital care.
