Dan has a strong background in adventure tourism and has a wealth of experience in both guiding and organising expeditions across the globe.
Having lived and worked as a guide and in operational roles in New Zealand, Europe and Nepal, Dan brings his knowledge and passion for the mountains to his role as Operations Manager.
Originally from Porirua, just north of Wellington, Dan and his young family have now made Wanaka their home allowing them to enjoy the outdoors lifestyle. Skiing, mountain biking, hiking and camping are all high on the agenda, whenever the seasons and weather allow. Dan can be found at AC Headquarters in Wanaka where, alongside his operations role he also assists our climbers and trekkers visiting Europe and South America as their Liaison. From time to time you'll also see Dan guiding treks in Nepal.
