The Adventure Consultants Island Peak Expedition 2010 ran in October/November of that year. Our team of five climbers and two trekkers was led by Adventure Consultants' Operations Manager Mark Sedon. They enjoyed trekking up the Khumbu Valley to visit Everest Base Camp and climbed Kala Patar, before crossing the spectacular Kongma La Pass and thus arriving, suitably acclimatised, ready for their ascent of Island Peak.
