Da Jangbu Sherpa from Pangboche is a long time AC stalwart, starting as a Climbing Sherpa, before moving into the esteemed position of Expedition Sirdar on Everest.
He is a veteran of 18 expeditions to the world's highest mountain. As an accomplished climber and guide his skills are often utilised leading other treks and expeditions in our calendar including Mera Peak, Island Peak and Three Peaks Nepal.
When Da Jangbu is not on an expedition he is a carpenter and also a lodge owner. His practical skills with electronics are an asset when it comes to setting up and fixing anything in our Base Camps.
He always has his friendly smile beaming at you and his fantastic relaxed but professional attitude earns him much respect when leading our Sherpa teams.
